Anything else would be a waste.ĭeals massive damage against Alien enemies Health up against Aliens can also be worth considering, as it may give him the ability to reach a longer range Alien while tanking a hit, or survive long enough in general to attack more. Ideally, use a massive damage up for Aliens. Attack Up is also a great talent for this unit to have, as it further increases its effectiveness against aliens, though it alone won't make a difference, so make sure that Chill Cat is properly high level. Cost Down makes this unit significantly safer to use, minimizing the investment, but money can still be drained quickly, so caution is advised. HP up is fairly standard: unlock it if your Chill Cat is close to surviving a hit from an enemy that you see often. Do not unlock his knockback Talent because oftentimes Alien frontliners are accompanied by backliner-class Enemies. Talents make this unit way more powerful and viable, due to low cost and better stats, but do not fix the range issue, leaving Chill Cat to be a rather situational and hard to use unit. His most viable uses overall are probably Star Peng, Kid Tappa, Mesocosmocyclone and Cyberhorn, all of which he can decimate if enough of him are spawned, ripping them to shreds when your other untis fail. The improved damage and recharge allow him to amount higher DPS against Aliens, although this also means you will have to watch your cash more closely unless you have gotten the Cost Down talent.Īll in all, this is a very potent, but situational attacker in Cats of the Cosmos and some of Uncanny Legends, but don't expect to use him often in Into the Future and Stories of Legend. That aside, the range increase is good because it can now much more reliably outrange Alien enemies that were harder for it to attack, such as General GreGory or Star Peng. The range increase however does not improve its matchup against Scissoroo, as outranging an enemy by 1 is rather inconsistent. His limited range makes him a poor choice in stages without aliens.Ĭhill Cat gains 30 more range, increased damage and lowered recharge time. The only regular foes he may not be as useful against are Project A and Youcan. He outrange every single peon (though his True Form may be required for some) and enter the blind spots of Corporal Weyland, Ribbo and Gardeneel Bros., plus he can deal good damage to Le'Solar, Spacefish Jones and Axoloty when they aren't attacking. When it comes to Starred Aliens, this unit has a brighter spotlight. Against unstarred Aliens, Wheel Cat's use is extremely limited, as he only outranges the basic peons, Cyberhorn, Helmut Krabbe, Elizabeth the LVIth (who has Wave Attacks), and Nimoy Bore are his most viable targets overall, but Nimoy Bore has to be slowed or frozen for him to really shine. This power comes at a cost, however: his range. Wheel Cat is fairly spammable and can be easily stacked to deal huge damage to Alien enemies. In order to classify Cat Units, see here Strategy/Usage
